According to a statement released on Sunday by the ministry of health and family welfare, India saw 265 new instances of Covid-19.
In the previous 24 hours, there were 1,209 recoveries, bringing the overall recovery rate to 98.8%.
According to data from the ministry, India now has 2,706 active cases, with a daily positive rate of 0.17 percent.
